Physical Therapy in Athens

    Hello! Allow me to take a moment to introduce myself and thank you for taking interest in my practice. My name is Jeromy Schultz. I am the proud owner of Schultz Physical Therapy. Since 2007, I have performed physical therapy services on Columbus Road in Athens, Ohio.  We recently opened our  Nelsonville office in 2015.

    My practice has seen a large emphasis in surgical and non-surgical orthopedics as well as disorders of the spine, SI joint, TMJ, pediatrics and geriatrics. I have a special interest in treatment of the shoulder as well as excellent success in specialized treatments relating to the vestibular system and BPPV, TMJ dysfunction, SI dysfunction, cervical spine, chronic headaches and foot pain for which clients have expressed difficulty finding services to aide with relief prior to finding my facility.

    I feel it is important to know who you are seeing as a healthcare provider. My wife Brooke, and our three children reside in Nelsonville, Ohio. I was born in Athens, Ohio and graduated locally from Nelsonville-York High School. I received a bachelor of science degree in Exercise Physiology from Ohio University. I attended Slippery Rock University in Pennsylvania and earned a Doctorate of Physical Therapy. I am also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist endorsed by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. I have experience working with all ages from infants to geriatrics in all settings including inpatient and acute care hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, home health, school settings, sports medicine and outpatient clinics. I have extensive experience in sports medicine and have had the privilege of working with athletes of all levels from the weekend warrior to collegiate, professional, and Olympic athletes. I have traveled throughout the country performing contracting services under my own corporation in several states including Ohio, Pennsylvania, Florida, Arizona, Oregon and Hawaii. This provided the unique opportunity to work with many therapists with different approaches allowing me to gain a wide variety of treatments and manual skills that I have brought back to help my community.
